He's actually going to do it.

Cody went to Bozeman this week for orientation and class registration.

He's actually going to move away.

(BTW - If one more person tells me it's time to cut the cord, I may very well be making my next entry from the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.  I'll cut the cord when I'm damn good and ready to cut the cord.  Got it?)

Aw honey! I shall NEVER 'cut the cord' on my kids! I really don't care what people think, my kids are all that matter and they are my world and I hope to always to be a huge part of their lives and they mine. I think the people that say that are just envious of the relationships we have with our kids. Single parents have a special bond and you were a single parent for a large part of Cody's life. I say 'screw all the naysayers'!!! Good for Cody. . . it's so hard when they first leave, at least you still have Conor at home, I mean I felt so lost as being a mom was such an integral part of my identity and I didn't feel needed anymore and not being able to see them on a daily basis, well, it was really hard. On the other hand, thank god he's not living in your basement stoned out of his mind!!!! Love you!!!

Hugs Wendi!! I am not looking forward to what happens after this year. J is going to be a senior and not sure if college will be an option with his grades. Everyone is trying to sway him one way, but if not he wants to go into the military and I am scared witless....It isn't easy being a mom.
